The idea of Arion was created by 2 lifelong French friends, competing at a professional level in both Jumping and Eventing.
Their passion and association for the industry brought the two ideas together: to bring an innovative premium product to amateur and professional riders, focused on the well being of the horse.

From France to the US
The Founder
An atypical profile and personality to push Arion project and satisfy his passion for Premium products that meets the requirements of the world’s best riders.
Sylvain Houry is a true enthusiast.
Bewitched by horseback riding from a very young age – Pro rider in Eventing, he started his career in a major business school in France. After graduation, he travels the world to finally settle between France and the US.
“My passion for luxury products and French craftsmanship as well as horseback riding and the people I have met have made me want to create my own brand; a brand of authenticity, quality and innovation.”
His vocation? The entrepreneurship that pushed him to create Arion Horse Sport Tack. Sylvain succeeded in combining innovation, his background and French artisanal in his project.
Hadrien Schenck
Sales Manager France
Former eventing rider and riding teacher, now married and father of two children Hadrien is settled in the South West of France.
After having sold saddles for a prestigious French company and trailers for a well known English brand, he is back in the world of equestrian sports to present you our new brand Arion.
Kristen Rose
USA Manager
Kristen has been involved in many aspects of the equine industry since she began riding and competing at eight years old.
After owning and operating a full service training barn in MD, Kristen left the industry for a short time to focus on raising her children and to regain her amateur status.
Kristen has been an expert saddle fitter and manager for one of the leading French brands prior to joining Arion, and looks forward to working with you
Ava Charpentier
Head of Communication USA & Europe
A real passion for digital, Made in France and horse riding. Ava in 3 words is good vibes, curiosity and creativity.
Gabby Fournier
Head of communication – US & Canada
Her vast experience in the equine industry as a competitor, working student, and marketing intern for Equestrian Sport Productions, Inc. in Wellington provides her the background to pursue her passions with the Arion team.

All our saddles are made to measure in our workshop in the South West of France.
Aesthetic curves, French materials and technical products are made possible thanks to 40 years of experience and the strength of our Workshop’s know-how which combines craftsmanship and technology.

Our demand: Premium quality, which comes first and foremost from our leathers. This is why we have decided to use only 100% French leathers.
Our grained leathers are treated with vegetable tanning in order to limit our impact on the environment.
And our soft leathers come from the best French tannery that produces luxury brands.
